‘Writing and Blogging’ emerged the key agenda discussed in the premiere launch of the seminar-workshop on ‘ADVOCACY JOURNALISM: Basic Writing and Blogging’ (Ad-Journ Seminar) last September 10, 2006 at The Kabataang Liberal ng Pilipinas - National Headquarters (KALIPI-NHQ).

This event was organized to enhance the writing skills and bring the participants round to the fast-tracking emergence of web log in the country. This involves the use of media in projecting the organization’s image and identity to the public.Robert Ramos, Liberal Party (LP) Director for Media Affairs, talked about the essentials of writing to 16 participants and school newswriters from different universities in Metro Manila.

Director Ramos included in its lecture the fundamentals of News articles, Features, Opinion and Editorial Pieces, and other related input about journalism.According to him, information is a handful of power that influences people around a certain extent. ‘Information is Power. It makes you the most influential one when people around you tend to be more dependent and reliant on every fact you give’, Ramos said in his closing statement.

The Systems Administrator of LP, Eric Caliboso, said that KALIPI-National is planning to conduct a larger second Ad-Journ seminar this forthcoming November.
